WISHING CHAIR This Kentucky-based duo is songwriter/guitarist Kiya Heartwood (formerly of Stealin Horses) and multi-instrumentalist Miriam Davidson. From 500-year old ballads to driving folk originals, Wishing Chair walks with its feet planted firmly in the living tradition while adding the best influences of popular and world music. WC was chosen as one of the first artists released on the Indiegrrl IGR record label. They have 3 CD's out including Singing with the Red Wolves 1996, Undisputed Country in 1998 and The Ghost of Will Harbut in 2000.

MIKE JAMESThis 21 yr old out blues/funk/alternative artist creates his music via his own indie label - REDSIREN RECORDS. Based in Waterbury, CT - young Mike draws influences from the likes of Tori Amos, George Michael, and even 80’s pop phenomenon Tiffany. At this show he will be joined by special guest artist JEREMY BLUE.

- this Norwalk, CT based singer/songwriter performs regularly throughout Fairfield County as well as all over the East Coast. This summer she recorded her debut CD "EVOLVE" with the folk duo THE KENNEDYS.

With 3 original CD releases to his credit, this Fairfield County born singer/songwriter/producer/recording engineer owns & operates his own Manhattan-based music production company - URBAN PRODUCTIONS. Winner of 2 OUTMUSIC 2001 "OMA" Awards, nominated for a 2001 INDEPENDENT MUSIC "IMA" Award, and named one of 10 important new voices in modern rock by PROGRESSION Rock Magazine.

Arranging voice and guitar in simple harmonies, Jeremy Blue creates an acoustic blend of music flavored with folk, soul, and an occassional twist of rock. His songs have been written from basic human experiences of healing. Jeremy's voice has been likened to the breeze for its gentle sensitivity, and yet also noted for its unwavering strength and dynamic range. Production is currently underway for Blue's first CD-release, "Angelsong" (scheduled September 14, 2001).

FOLK FESTIVAL. Additionally, she's been a featured performer at major folk
venues all throughout Connecticut & Massachussetts. In 1998, Brenda released
