With 3 original CD releases to his credit this multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter is also owner/operator of the Manhattan-based Urban Productions Recording Studio. One of today's most distinctive & uncompromising queer rock-artists, Robert performs both solo & with his own band. He is also accompanist, session musician, producer/arranger/sound engineer and private music teacher.
Robert has provided musical scores for numerous professional music, dance, theater & film productions. He has been honored with music awards and people's choice nominations from numerous arts organizations including The StoneWall Society, Outmusic, The Musician's Atlas and Progess Report Magazine.
Note: DEMENTIA 35 by Boys' Entrance, NIGHT IN KAMPALA (AND WHAT TRANSPIRED THERE) by Robert Urban, and I WANT TO BE A JOCK by Steve Cohen do not appear on the 2 hour "commercial" release of DEAD GUYS but appear on the 2.5 hour "extended" version.
